Redefining protein industry by chickpeas
Angry Camel develops a patentable innovative technical process to extract high purity and functional organic protein from European chickpea by-products. The ingredient would have a variety of applications ranging from protein-enhanced food, dairy (milk, yogurt, whipped cream) and meat alternatives, and egg replacement in bakeries, thanks to the protein’s unique functional characteristics (e.g. solubility, suspension stability by emulsification and foaming). Angry Camel is led by visionary Kotaiba Aal and Bakr Jahhan and it has been a pleasure to be involved in the early stages of their exciting startup.
